Infertility Treatment at Kalptaru Hospital
Infertility refers to an inability to conceive after having regular unprotected sex. It can also refer to the biological inability of an individual to contribute to conception, or to a female who cannot carry a pregnancy to full term.
Infertility may be due to male or female causes. It is of utmost importance to find out the underlying cause in that particular couple. For this several tests like hormonal assays, sonography, laparoscopy (in females) and semen analysis, blood test or testicular biopsy (in males) are undertaken.
After the diagnosis, appropriate line of treatment is taken accordingly. Most of the infertility treatment does not require admission or test, is not painful but requires patience and understanding of the procedures involved.
